Yeah! You can take a break from me and see one of my customers in her favorite Etcetera piece. This is from the holiday 2009 collection. I have to say it is one of my favorites too. It is a saphire blue, double breasted shirt jacket that is made of a heavy satin fabric with lots of pleats all around.

This is Liz Berg, she shops with me and has collected a wonderful Etcetera wardrobe through out the years!






I would love to get more Etcetera sightings!

When:  August 30, 2010

What:  Today I wore a floral knit top from spring 2010 and paired it with dark brown shorts from the spring 2009 collection. 

Where:  I worked in my office today and drove carpool, nothing exciting!

Why:  Even though it is fall, it is sooo hot and humid. I think this outfit looks fallish but is easy to wear in the heat. I wear this top a lot with white jeans and it looks very summery!

August 29th, 2010 Sunday mass

When:  Sunday, August 29th, 2010

What:  White cotton dress with a black and white floral embriodered jacket.  This is from the summer 2008 collection.  Getting close to the last days of summer to wear white!  I love this dress, I wear it alone or with different sweaters and jackets.  Classic lines that will be fashionable for many years!

Where:  Sunday mass, perfect church dress.  I did wear it last Saturday to a fundraiser.

Why:  It was very hot today!  It is a cool dress, I did not even need the jacket in church!

August 28th

What:  Mother and daughter!  This classic black knit top with pearl buttons on the cuff is from spring 2003.  It looks as good as the day I bought it!  My skirt is from summer 2010.  It is a black and white hand crocheted knit skirt trimmed in white crochet bobbled edge trim.  So cute and comfy!  I mix this skirt with white and black at the top.

My mom has on a great jean suit from summer of 2007.  It is embellished with beads, sequins and stones. 

Where and why:  Both perfect outfits for a baby shower we attended today for my sister Calle.

August 27th, New show room for the Fall Holiday Show

 

When:  August 27th, 2010

What:  White wrapped waist shirt from spring of 2009 paired with my favorite pink pants of all time from spring of 2004!  Talk about clothes that with hold the test of time! 

Where:  Our new show space!  6434 North College Avenue, Suite C

Why:  Holly and I are thrilled to find a new location.  It is a great space and very convenient for all!

August 26th, First day of Everyday Etcetera

Hello!
Today is the first day of my Etcetera Every Day Blog. I wanted to do this so everyone can see how great it is to wear Etcetera.
My Etcetera wardrobe started 7 years ago! So I definitely have a lot of pieces to mix and match!

I want to show women that you can mix old and new and be casual or dressy with Etcetera. Etcetea does it all!

When: August 26th, 2010

What: Black and white crochet knit top from summer 2010 collection and a great pair of jeans from many seasons ago. I love jeans and wear them with just about anything. Etcetera makes great jeans and I have most of them. I am anxiously awaiting the skinny jeans from this fall’s collection.

Where: Whole Foods in Nora

Why: Having lunch with my mom, eating outside on this beautiful day! We just bought a baby shower gift for my sister! My mom took the photo! Thanks mom!
