Green Plate Club: Indianapolis, IN, United States; After reading several books on health and the effects of diet on health, I began my vegan journey. It has been about three years and I have never felt better. "Journey" is a common word used to describe someone who decides to become a vegan. It is hard to become vegan overnight. There is a lot to learn about veganism and how to eat a plant based diet. And I am alwasy continuing to learn more. I hope to share with you what I have learned and the importance of eating a plant based diet. I will post my menus weekly. I am starting the Green Plate Club so that others can discover the benefits and pleasures of eating vegan. I have found many delicious recipies, creating healthy meals for my family. I know it can be a little intimidating at first. I am not a "chef" or a nutritionist. I just am passionate about the importance of the food we put in our bodies and the benefits of being a vegan. I have begun to learn about vegan cooking and would love for others to discover how delicious and satisfying it can be.
